Welcome! I’m Pam Myers — a Reggio-inspired artist, early childhood teacher and developmental specialist based in Lake Forest, Illinois. I feel most at home in the world of color, texture and design. I have a deep love of nature and bring it into my work with children and families whenever possible.
My approach blends creativity, exploration and child development. I hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Development from the Erikson Institute, a certificate in drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and I began my professional life in marketing and branding.
For nearly 20 years, I’ve been making art with children and families. As a classroom teacher, I’ve created sensory-rich learning environments that invite self-expression and connection. Over the past 10 years, I’ve also worked as a credentialed developmental therapist and DIR Floortime practitioner, supporting children and young adults with social challenges, developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and sensory processing differences.
At the heart of everything I do is the belief that art, play and relationships are powerful tools for healing and growth. Whether I’m in the classroom, the studio or working one-on-one, my goal is always the same: to create a space where people feel seen, supported and free to be themselves.
